Use this template to create a Mother's Day or Father's Day card that really POPS!
The 'explosion' effect is created using a folding technique that tucks a square page inside a smaller, square card base. When you open the card, the design pops open! Printable step-by-step photos and instructions are included in the template.
The card features US and international spellings of Mom and Mum, a Dad option plus a generic 'You Are' option for parents and carers who are called something else.
There is a pre-printed set of positive describing words to colour and decorate with doodle art patterns, plus the option of a blank starburst design that you could fill in with your own describing words.
This craft is recommended for ages 8+

I did this with 2 classes for Mother's Day. They really enjoyed it and thought it looked really cool at the end. I did use the online video to help me work out the folding. Great that it also included a page that didn't say Mom on it so that students could choose who to give it to.
