This paper snake craft is based on two real python species from Australia's Daintree Rainforest, the Green Tree Python and the Jungle Carpet Python.
In addition to two realistic looking paper chain snakes there is a design-your-own snake template so that kids can get creative!
The digital download file includes:
• Printable instructions with step by step photographs
• The template for two separate species of Australian Pythons
• A blank "design your own" snake template
• The file has been saved as a zipped file containing both A4 size (with Aus/UK spelling) and US letter size (with US spelling). Double click the zipped file to open it and choose the version you need.

Such a fun easy project I really enjoyed making with my grandson. He loves snakes and he was impressed with how the paper chain moved much like a real snake does.

The snakes are great. My only suggestion is to use double sided tape instead of glue.
I purchased this to use as a letter-of-the-week activity. I was concerned that it would be too difficult for my 3-year-olds, but they did great! The snakes are super cute when they’re finished!!
